Since I have been doing a fair amount of photography as of late, I am considering something in the future. Currently, I am in graduate school pursuing a graduate degree in information systems management. Yes, I need another advanced degree like I need a hole in my head. However, I am finding that I'm more passionate about doing photography because it allows me a greater degree of creativity. I must admit that I do derive a perverse pleasure from writing database and web applications.

Once I complete my degree in May [of 2008], I am going to take a break from school and then start looking heavily into taking photography classes. What's really shame is that I worked at Kodak -- as a software engineer; sigh! -- and I never took advantage of the free photography classes that were available. I look at my work and I feel that I do okay, but there is still so much more to learn. And while this is not a dilemma, I am going to take classes so that I can improve upon what technique I already employ in my photography. Who knows? I may even decide to get into graphics design and couple that with my photography. It's something that I have given thought to and I honestly believe that I should feed my passion.

How about that? At that moment, right then, I admitted that I have a passion. And now I can move forward.
